The show was absolutely wonderful! Takita played alone, with pre-recorded guitar/keyboard/drum tracks, including remixes of songs from Rising Moon.  The music was so very soothing, and it was so good to hear live music after so very long.

The venue was intimate, probably a bit too small for the 30-40 of us there (he joked about the bar’s social distancing being “narrow”). After the show, Takita sold Love Base goods to everyone, taking time to talk to each person for as long as they’d liked. I hadn’t planned on buying anything, but he had cheki (selfies taken with a polaroid), so I hopped in line to get some. Much to my amazement, he not only remembered me after more than a year (mask and all), he remembered I’m from Kyushu & he thanked me for coming to Tokyo for the show. Needless to say, that made a memorable evening even better!
