Kiiyan joins Konishi Katsuyuki and Takemoto Eiji in giving voice to a trio of palm-sized teddy bears: Honey Bears. Kiiyan’s the serious-looking blue bear, named Chris (Christian); he apparently has a mischievous side, though.
The project is in conjunction with Universal Music Japan, and the bears will come with pre-recorded songs, spoken words and background music. The audio can also be accessed by devices with a QR code reader.
The bears are currently on sale on the Universal Music site individually (5,500 yen/each, tax included) or as a set (16,500, tax included). Pre-orders will be accepted until 8/27/2023 and the bears will be delivered in late September. There will be no sales after the deadline.
