e-zuka announced in his blog today that they’ve been rehearsing for a show with bamboo flute player Kinohachi that will take place in Beijing in the middle of June.
e-zuka has apparently known Kinohachi for many years (he shares some older blog entries from 14 years ago where the two of them were together in Tokamachi).
Eagle-eyed fans may also recognize – KIJI – as the fox-masked shamisen player from the Y.W.F. live at Fuji Q back in 2012.
Kinohachi’s website lists a tour option from Japan to Beijing. Details can be seen here.
