OK Music interview

OK Music has a a two page interview with Kiiyan and e-zuka about the songs on Pierrot Dancin’ wherein we learn e-zuka was inspired by Adam Ant for the music for FAT SHAPER … and Kiiyan was drunk when he wrote the lyrics (which apparently draws inspiration from Guy de Maupassant).

(The interviewer expressed concern for Kiiyan’s liver, but Kiiyan assured them he’s okay. It’s possible he’s limited his drinking to at home only … and is avoiding beer, as he’s supposed to. Here’s hoping!)

UNDER THE SKY is a ballad, while Endless Dream is lyrically tied to 少年の果て (and Beatlesque in sound). Kiiyan was aiming for a ’90s kind of J-POP/J-ROCK feel with the lyrics for Fake Lover’s True Heart, and surprised himself with the old-fashioned flavor of ナミダバナ.
