G10 premium seating, the low down

Your friendly neighborhood admin here, stepping aside from fangirl mode for a moment to share a link, and a little bit of commentary.

I rather purposefully was low key about announcing the requirements for G10 premium seating, because I did not want to alert a particular site, which shall remain unnamed (for they don’t deserve click-throughs) to get a hold of the from me (or someone who reads this site) and run with it, since last year they made a controversy out of the decidedly non-controversial men/women only shows.

Unfortunately, in doing so, I let an opportunity slide to promote the swimsuit only section in a positive way. And this same site, using a Japanese rumor site as its source (not even the official Granrodeo site), published an inflammatory article with false information, seemingly designed to stir up idiocy and anti-Granrodeo sentiment. And they succeeded, to a small degree. I said my piece there, laying out the background and facts, and some folks walked away with the full picture (while others, of course, decided to remain offended).

I’m too late to be in the vanguard, so all I can do as a fan is run damage control in a limited capacity (including tipping Lantis staff off to the site in question). So, if you read that article, and somehow missed my reply, here’s the low down on the requirements for the “premium seating,” which is directly next to the stage on either side.

  1. Tickets are limited to Fan Club members who have joined by June 1, 2015; photo IDs and Fan Club IDs will be checked at the door
  2. Ticket holders must be female
  3. Ticket holders must be of age (alcohol will be available)
  4. Ticket holders must wear either a bikini or bra top with a bikini bottom or something like shorts or a skirt
  5. It’s likely these ticket holders will be filmed, so must be prepared for that possibility
  6. A changing area will be provided by the venue, and ticket-holders will be provided something by the concert runners to keep themselves warm
