There’s a long interview (Japanese only) with Kiiyan and e-zuka up on the V.I.P. Press web site.

They talk some about 『ぐらP&ろで夫』, including e-zuka’s triumphant return behind the recording microphone. Apparently they had just finished recording for episodes 32-35.

And they talk about G10, and how they picked Makuhari Messe so they could give fans the feel of a live house … and an outdoor venue. Plus, alcohol! (Heh.) Of course the swimsuit section came up in discussion of G10.  They’ve noticed the increase in neechans wearing swimsuits to the shows (which of course they like), so they decided to make a special section just for these Rodeo Girls. When asked where the seating is, e-zuka points out it’s off to the side of the stage, so whenever they look sideways during the show …. they joke about guys showing up in bikinis and e-zuka was quite to point out it’s for women only. But Kiiyan shot back with the fact that they DO get guys in bikinis (well, they get Joy Mix, who I haven’t seen in a while at the shows)

When asked if they thought this might inspire fans to diet, Kiiyan replied that he thought it would. The interviewer also asked Kiiyan what kind of female body type he likes, which … he didn’t directly answer. He did say something about doing what you need to do (like massage….) to be ready for the show, so one might assume he prefers bikini-ready. (Heh.)

Both were asked to comment on the other, now that they’ve been working together 10 years. Kiiyan expressed his admiration at e-zuka’s composition prowess, and e-zuka at Kiiyan’s front man/vocal prowess.

Kiiyan was asked about his gout last year, which he blamed on his bad eating and drinking habits. He’s fine now, but apparently was in a lot of pain last summer. It seems as if perhaps the reason he brought it up so much, trying to make light of it, was to distract himself from it.
