I really had hoped to write up each of the shows as I went along, but time escaped me. I actually started *this* particular write-up the week before ROUND GR and now it’s after Mezamashi….
Rather than write something new up as I usually would, I’m stealing the bullet points I always post on Tumblr after each show, so if you’ve seen those, you’ve seen most of this before, and it’s a little more casual/personal than I usually write here.
So … this will be a bit long-winded, no doubt, but hopefully enjoyable to those of you seeing it for the first time. I’ll follow up later with ROUND GR and Mezamashi … and probably the GuraP show by time I get to it.
On May 23rd, Yamaguchi television station tys TV’s Chigumaya show will air a segment on Granrodeo, filmed at the 4/29 live in Yamaguchi. Air time starts at 9:25 AM.
There’s a short clip up right now at the station’s site (might be region-locked to Japan)
This week’s episode is again from the Yokohama Mr. Tambourine Man events.
Kiiyan talks a bit about the recent tour, then shows the picture he took while they were going across the Great Seto Bridge (a very long, high bridge that connects Okayama prefecture with the island of Shikoku). He took this picture out of the bus, which gives him an opportunity to proudly show off his garakei cell phone.
We find out that Kiiyan likes cloudy days (he takes a poll of the audience to see if they prefer sunny, cloudy or rainy, but without seeing the show of hands, impossible to tell the responses) and that he has a “scenery fetish.” Heh.
